Latest pictures of the expectant mom...

All is going really well as the babies are now estimated at around 2.5 lbs each (this is normally the weight of a baby in a single pregnancy at 28 weeks). When the ultrasound technician said they were in the 75th and 85th percentile, Jason's response was..."Why aren't they in the 100%?" The doctor says they are a good weight so I guess mom is getting enough nutrients as you can tell by these photos. It is hard to believe that I will actually get bigger than this as the photos were taken at 28 weeks (Memorial Day weekend). Only about 9 weeks to go if all continues to go well. I am staying off my feet mostly these days as they tend to look like elephant trunks by evening. The nursery is getting there and once we get the rest of the furniture, I will post some pictures!

Name ideas?

Although Jason and I are still contemplating names for our future children (which will be revealed upon their births), we have enjoyed hearing some "interesting" suggestions that go well with "Redi".

Here are some adding Redi as the last name:

Bourne
Ever
Always
Illbe
Never
Areu

You get the picture....please feel free to add more if have any other "suggestions".

Here are some from our good friend Bryan L. (seeing the name written Redi, ___________)

Foranything
Forlove
Set-Go
Toparty
Togetcompletelyhammeredandhurloffthethirdfloorfireescape

How did he know that last one is actually on our "possible baby names" list?

Baby Shower May 10, 2008

Our wonderful baby shower was hosted by the ever fabulous Paster family, led by my cousin Kimberly and my mother-in-law Martha (aka Grandma). It was so great to spend time with some family and friends to celebrate our little ones. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who could not be there but were present in spirit!

A special thank you to Caroline who, as always, entertains and delights all around her.

Two Heads are Better Than One...

Assembling the crib....

Jason could not wait to put together this gorgeous crib sent by Grandma and Grandpa Redi. He has been saying "the measure of a man as a new father is proportionate to how easily he puts together the crib." He actually wanted me to time him which I absolutely refused because I would rather the crib assembly be completely thorough and safe. But of course, he timed himself anyway and it took a mere 30 minutes. Luckily, it is absolutely a safe and solid assmembly! Here are some pictures of the master at work....
